Start Your Puppy's Life With Practical, Positive Support
Puppies are learning every moment—even when it feels like they are simply chewing the furniture.
Pacific North Woof helps families build useful routines, age-appropriate skills, and a strong foundation for everyday life. Puppy Training is available for puppies under five months old in McMinnville, Newberg, and throughout Yamhill County.
Puppyhood Is Exciting—and a Lot to Manage
Bringing home a puppy can come with sleepless nights, constant supervision, sharp teeth, confusing advice, and questions about whether you are doing things correctly.
You do not need to create a perfect puppy.
You need a realistic plan that helps your puppy learn while supporting the people in your household.
Josh will help you decide what to prioritize now, what can wait, and how to build habits that fit your daily life.
Puppy Skills and Routines
Puppy Training may include support with:
Use “socialization” to mean thoughtful, positive, age-appropriate exposure—not forcing a puppy to interact with every person or dog.

Puppy Day Training
Puppy Day Training gives your puppy focused practice with Josh while making sure you understand how to continue the learning at home.
Packages require a minimum three-week commitment.
Each week includes:
- • Three trainer-and-puppy sessions
- • One transfer session with the client
Sessions may take place:
- • In the home
- • Around the neighborhood
- • In carefully selected community settings
- • During planned field trips
Josh may transport the puppy when an appropriate field trip supports the training plan.
The weekly transfer session helps the family understand what the puppy is learning and how to continue practicing between sessions.
Private Puppy Coaching
Private Coaching is a collaborative option for families who want to participate directly in each session.
Sessions take place in the client's home and are tailored to:
- The puppy's development
- The family's schedule
- The household environment
- The routines that matter most
Coaching clients receive:
